Sara Wilhelm

Sara Wilhelm currently serves as Operations Manager for the Whitney Humanities Center, the Humanities Program, Medieval Studies, and Renaissance Studies, and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration. Prior to her start in this role in 2021, she served for three years as Appointments & Promotions Coordinator in the FAS Dean’s Office, providing systems and procedural support for FAS faculty searches and hires, reappointments, promotions, leaves, and retirement. Prior to this, she served for one year as Senior Administrative Assistant and Chair’s Assistant in the Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures. Before she switched to serving the FAS, she served for three years as Interim Director of Chapel Music for Marquand Chapel at Yale Divinity School. Sara holds an MM in Choral Conducting from the Yale School of Music and Institute of Sacred Music. Before coming back to Yale post graduation, Sara served as adjunct faculty at the University of Hartford and SUNY Purchase. Sara moved from academics to administration, with a keen interest in interdisciplinary arts and academics management. Outside of the office, she is an active martial artist, mother, and performing musician.
