Part-Time Acting Instructor - PhD Student in History of Science and Medicine
I am a social and cultural historian interested in crime and social control in the Late Middle Ages. My dissertation research will explore the perception of criminal activity and group formation on the margins of society in fifteenth-century Flemish cities. More generally, I am interested in interdisciplinary approaches to medieval history that look at folklore and literature in conversation with legal and administrative documents.

Originally coming from Chapel Hill, NC, I graduated with a B.A. in History from Princeton University in 2014.
