Hägglund wins prestigious Schück Prize for literary studies in Sweden

Martin Hägglund, Professor of Comparative Literature and Humanities, has won a major literary prize in Sweden. The Schück Prize citation highlights his English language books Radical Atheism: Derrida and the Time of Life (2008) and Dying for Time: Proust, Woolf, Nabokov (2012). Professor Hägglund is teaching a seminar on Heidegger’s Being and Time this semester, and is the new Chair of the Comparative Literature department.
